A much better day today a bit cold but sunny and winder in open spaces. The ride was mostly flat 68 mile ride  but we hit a really hard 16% to 18% about 20 miles in called Stafford Hill  a mile long killer. We  hit a couple of more hills after about 60 miles all in all a good day with a couple of good photos.

We Got Soaked

Our 2nd day ride Looe Exeter it pored down from start to finish, never been so wet and cold. On top of Dartmore we had driving wind, Rain and hale. Not helped by drivers coming speeding passed and socking you we have had good hotels up to now well done Tom. We only got into Exeter very late so once again only a short message Take a look at the picture of us trying to dry our gear in the café at Princetown  Dartmore

Packed and ready

Got all gear packed and ready for the ride, leave for Lands End tomorrow weather not looking good for 1st 4 days and the wind direction changes from SW to NW so we are going be cycling into a head wind. The bike is going  weight a ton with all the gear on its a very heavy bike to start with around 33lbs and both my paniers weigh 13lb each. Good job Ive lost a stone since being knocked of my bike. All I can say is good luck to my legs.
